Recruitment of foreign students for Pomeranian University in Słupsk

ATTENTION!!!  Students with a Polish Card and a permanent residence card may be admitted to higher education on the same basis as Polish citizens!

STAGES OF RECRUITMENT

 

FIRST STAGE OF RECRUITMENT

Foreigners - would-be students are obliged to register on the website https://ehms.apsl.edu.pl/e-rekrutacja/, and then to send a copy or scanned versions of some basic documents, essential for the first stage of recruitment to the following address:

1.Personal questionnaire with a picture (copy or scan).

2. Passport. Page one (with personal details and picture) or another document confirming  the candidate’s identity.

3. Valid proof of education completed.Any valid document  entitling the candidate  to undertake  studies in POLAND translated into Polish by a sworn translator, legalized or  with an apostille attached:

  • High school graduation certificate with relevant marks,
  • Certificate with marks translated into Polish by a sworn translator,
  • Legalization of the certificate or an apostille, or a confirmation that the certificate entitles the candidate to apply for admission to institutions of higher education of all types – if applicable and depending on the country where the document was issued.
  • In case the candidate wishes to apply for admission to a masters degree programme (second cycle studies), additional documents are required and these include :
  • Diploma certifying the completion of  a bachelors degree course along with the supplement – if the document was issued in Poland;  
  • The diploma with the supplement translated into Polish by a sworn translator, 
  • Legalization of the certificate or an apostille, or a confirmation that the certificate entitles the candidate to apply for admission to institutions of higher education of all types – if applicable and depending on the country where the document was issued.

4. Document confirming the level of Polish attained – a document to certify the completion of a year-long preparatory course prior to undertaking studies in Polish in institutions designated by the Minister of Higher Education, or a certificate of Polish issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language.Individuals who do not possess one of the above-mentioned documents are required to sit an examination to verify their aptitude and the level of Polish administered by AP on a date set by the Recruitment Office (after the candidate’s arrival in Poland with a view to studying).

5. Documents to verify the state of health – a medical certificate confirming the absence of contraindications in regard to the commencement of studies in a chosen field along with a Polish translation – if the certificate was issued in a language other than Polish.  

6.    1 photograph in electronic form

7.    Application form regarding accommodation allotted at a dormitory - if applicable

8.    Proof of payment of tuition

9.    Proof of payment of recruitment fee.

10. A birth certificate  transate into Polish

All documents issued should be translated into Polish by a sworn translator*

 

SECOND STAGE OF RECRUITMENT

The list of documents to be presented upon arrival in Poland in order to study:

  1. Application form (original)
  2. Passport
  3. Visa/Residence card or any other document entitling to a temporary stay in the Republic of Poland – if applicable;
  4. Document confirming education completed (original);
  5. Document confirming the level of Polish attained.
  6. A document in proof of the state of health (original)
  7. 2 photographs  ( 3,5 x 4,5 cm) – for the record and dormitory residence card.
  8. Insurance Policy in case of illness or consequences of hapless accidents during the study period in Poland, or the European Card of Health Insurance or any other document confirming the act of joining the insurance scheme within the National Health Fund immediately upon the commencement of education. The original document should be presented to an appropriate university official on demand.
  9. Proof of payment of recruitment fee - Artistic education in the area of musical art - 150PLN (≈35€), Physiotherapy, Medical rescue - 100PLN (≈24€), for another fields of study - 85PLN (≈20€).

*Polish  translationTranslation of  all documents into Polish should be done by a sworn translator enlisted as such by the Minister of Justice. Having a problem translating the documents?  Contact the RECRUITMENT OFFICE!
